How does mindfulness-based stress reduction support us in dealing with the challenges we face in life? In 1979, Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn introduced Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Over the past 40 years, it has been widely participated in around the world, and research institutions, primarily universities, have demonstrated its effectiveness in reducing stress and depression, and in enhancing well-being.
We are hosting a webinar featuring Linda Lehrhaupt, Ph.D., founder of the Institute of Mindfulness Based Approaches in Germany, who has trained over 1,000 mindfulness instructors in Europe. The webinar will explore what mindfulness and MBSR are, and how they can support us in dealing with life’s challenges, including practical meditation exercises.
This webinar is offered as a part of “Essence of Mindfulness : 6-session series” with
- Zindel Segal, “How does MBCT support recovery from depression? ~Mechanism of MBCT~” (held in August 2023)
