We will be hosting a webinar featuring Dr. Erik van den Brink, a psychiatrist-psychotherapist from the Netherlands.

Dr. Erik, in collaboration with meditation teacher Frits Koster, developed the Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living (MBCL) program as an opportunity for those who have completed mindfulness-based programs, like Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to deepen their practice in compassion towards themselves and others. This program integrates insights from modern psychotherapeutic schools, such as Compassion-Focused Therapy, with mindfulness-based approaches to alleviate human suffering.

This webinar aims to introduce you to MBCL and how it can support care seekers as well as caregivers, who often work under significant stress. The session will include some practical meditation exercises.

Dr. Erik will also share some of his personal journey of how mindfulness and compassion practice supported him meeting challenges in his life and work.

This session is highly recommended for healthcare professionals interested in incorporating compassion into their practice, as well as for anyone interested in this topic.
